A Ball Pit-centered Multi-level Indoor Playground Structure
The concept for this project was to make the ball pits the visual and functional center of the indoor playground. Rather than placing the ball pool as a separate, low-level attraction, NinescapeLand integrated it with climbing, sliding, and elevated passage activities.
The large transparent spiral slide creates a strong focal point within the structure. Its transparent design allows parents and caregivers to observe children while creating a more open visual experience. The slide directs children into the ball pit, making the ball-pool landing part of the overall play route.
Children can reach the upper play level through soft padded climbing stairs or through the climbing-net route. Once on the upper level, they can walk across the raised passage, cross the large woven-net bridge, and move between different sides of the structure. The woven-net swing below adds another layer of activity and turns the space beneath the bridge into a usable play zone.
This design approach creates an engaging ball pit with climbing net concept that makes use of both horizontal and vertical space.

Creating a Visually Impressive Play Structure Within 99㎡
The primary challenge of this project was to create a visually engaging, multi-level children’s play environment within a 99㎡ footprint. The client wanted a large ball pit experience, but the design also needed to provide more than passive ball-pool play.
To solve this, NinescapeLand used a vertical circulation strategy. Instead of expanding the structure across the entire floor, the design adds upper-level walkways, climbing stairs, climbing-net routes, and a connecting woven-net bridge. This increases the number of activities available without requiring a much larger venue.
Another challenge was making the transition between play zones feel natural. The climbing stairs, elevated walkway, net bridge, climbing-net platform, spiral slide, and ball pit were designed as one connected journey. Children can move from one section to another rather than needing to stop and restart at separate attractions.
